Flower and Cross Leather Pen Case

Haven’t made a pen case in a few years, but recently finished up this one. Around the cross are dogwood flowers, for the Christian symbolism and because it’s the state flower of North Carolina, where this case is headed.

Here are two progress shots. The first is with the pattern cut into the leather, the next has been tooled but not dyed yet. On the final product, the dogwood flowers are the natural leather color with no dye applied to make them pop.
